    Qualification: B.Tech / BE (Mechanical)

    Computer Proficiency: PDMS-11.6, 12.0(Pipe work, Equipment, Structure, Report, Draft, Isodraft), Auto CAD, CAESAR-II, Model Review Software's.

    Experience: 5 to 7 years

    Location: Mumbai. (Travelling to site/ client office involved)

    Technical Skills and Responsibilities:

    » Sound Knowledge of Piping Materials, Layouts & Conversant with International Codes and standard.

    » Preparation of detail piping specification, pipe wall thickness calculation, preparation of data sheets for piping specialty items and valves schedule

    » Preparation/checking of material takeoff for piping systems, painting and insulation etc.

    » Preparation of tenders/requisition for piping materials and technical discussion with client and vendors / Suppliers.

    » Technical bid evaluation of vendor/supplier"s supplied material in accordance to the specific requirement.

    » Carryout detail engineering after getting process flow diagram and operating conditions. Assist in Preparation and checking of overall plot plans, Equipment Layout, Isometrics & as-built drawings for the complete plant.

    » Interfacing with other disciplines such as process, civil, electrical & instrumentation division.

    » Validating and supervising technical documents.

    » Involve in drawing finalization of piping layouts based on site requirement in consultation with the Design Engineers.

    » Prepare cost estimate, Techno-commercial offers for EPC & PC projects including preparation of bid packages, site visit prior to award of job.

  • Job Description: LEAD ENGINEER (PIPING STRESS ANALYSIS)
  • Candidate should be a Mechanical / Chemical Engineering Graduate from a reputed institution with minimum 8 years experience in stress analysis using CAESAR II. Should be capable of leading a group of specialist engineers involved in piping stress analysis including support engineering.

    Candidate should have hands-on experience in analyzing critical piping systems of pumps, turbines, compressors and other high pressure / temperature piping arrangement including jacketed piping systems. Should be well conversant with all stress analysis requirements of international piping codes. Knowledge of various supporting arrangements including special supports / sway bracings / bellows / rigid struts, spring supports etc. is a must. Experience of dynamic analysis (Natural frequency calculations, harmonic analysis, response spectrum analysis, time history analysis) & Surge Analysis of piping systems will be an added advantage.

  • Qualification:

    » Have 15 years experience of which twelve (12) years must be of practical engineering design experience (designer/drafting level is not included) appropriate to the discipline in the offshore and onshore oil and gas industry

    » At least three (3) years shall have been spent in the overall coordination and supervision of an engineering design team

    » Have a recognized degree or equivalent qualification in his/her discipline. In addition, he/she shall be a member of a recognized institution and a registered Professional Engineer/Chartered Engineer e.g. MIE (Aust), IPENZ, MIMech E, MICE, IEM, etc.

    » Shall be conversant and have working knowledge with the relevant international standards and code of practices.

  • Qualification:

    » Hold a recognised degree in Engineering relevant to their discipline and have a minimum 15 years (unless specified otherwise) of relevant practical experience (designer / drafting level is not included).

    » Have 10 years experience in the upstream oil and gas facility design and preferably three (3) years in a leading/coordination role in multi-discipline team.

    » Have a working knowledge of the relevant International Standards and Codes of Practice normally used in the Oil and Gas Industry but not limited to API, BS, AISC, DNV. It is strongly preferred that the incumbent be familiar and has worked with Shell International Design Engineering Procedures (DEP's).

    Have sound appreciation of:-

    » Environmental aspects (ISO14001) of oil and gas design.

    » Quality Assurance and Control requirements of the design process.

    » Have practical experience in design and construction engineering, including offshore design & installation of jackets, decks, bridges and packaged units.

    Have a comprehensive skills and knowledge of:-

    » Design techniques in structural steel engineering including finite element analysis and associated computer software.

    » Installation of jacket structures, piles, decks and modules.
